Thank you all! You are amazing! The Ritchey Family feels your overwhelming flow of love! Though the sting of their loss is still present and will be for a long time to come it has been lessened by what you all have done for them. God bless you all! Alicia
Many of you know that this was tragic loss for our family and many tears have been cried and will continue to flow as we mourn the loss of my sweet nephew, Alex. What makes it harder for the family is having to worry about funeral costs at a time like this. Geo J. Carroll Funeral Home has been very gracious, helpful and deffered many costs already but we would like to lift that burden off of them and raise the money to cover the expenses of laying their sweet little boy to rest. We have all experienced loss at sometime in our life and isn't wonderful how even in a time of such sadness people come together and help their fellow Christian brothers and sisters in need. Please help this family by making a donation today of any amount. Alex's uncle, Chris Ritchey, just told me the sweet story his little girl giving him her piggy bank because she wanted to help too. If we all had the heart of a child what a wonderful World this could be.

Alex passed away
Saturday, July 14, 2012, at North Texas Medical Center.
Alex was born May 17, 2007, in Gainesville to Danny and Jonie (Sills) Ritchey.
We knew Alex a.k.a
Spiderman, was very special from the day he was born. His presence was known wherever
he was because of his overflowing, abundant personality. He had this ability to
make you laugh at pretty much anything he did even when he was The Hulk and he
crinkled his nose, put a grimace on his face, flexed his muscles and yelled,
“I’m so angry!” You couldn’t help but laugh. He was loved by everyone but
especially by his family. Though he is not here on Earth with us we know where
he is. He is in Heaven with our loved ones that have gone on before us
including his Uncle John that loved him very, very much. Survivors of Alex
Hunter Daniel Ritchey include his father and mother, Danny and Jonie (Sills)
Ritchey of Gainesville; sisters, Jennifer, Jamie and Brittani Ritchey of
Gainesville; brother, Justin Ritchey of Gainesville; Grandparents, Danny Sr. &
Roberta Ritchey of Gainesville; Denton Sills formally of Gainesville and Beth
Holbert of Gainesville; great-grandmother, Joy Faulkner of Gainesville; uncle and aunt, Chris & Heather Ritchey of Lawton, OK;
aunt, Alicia Sills Dunn of Keller; he also had many cousins.
He was preceded
in death by his Uncle John Sills.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

May The Good Lord keep you all strong and know that this beautiful child is in the best place ever!! Although we, as humans, are so greedy we want to keep our loved ones here on earth forever, there is no place better than beside the Lord our God, Jesus Christ! Alex must have been a very special lil boy for our God to take him in his arms so early! Rest in peace Lil Alex!
