We are friends of Jake & Jenny Englehorn,
Jake and Jenny were married in 2010 and started trying to have a family right away. Jenny works as a neonatal intensive care nurse and Jake is a young entrepeanuer with a start-up company.
After years of infertility and many fertility treatments they decided to finally try IVF and used all of their savings to try to have a child. They were lucky enough to get pregnant with their little baby girl Addison last September.
This past Tuesday, Addison was born at 32 weeks--just 7 weeks shy of when they had eagerly expected her to arrive--but not before they were informed that Addison had suddenly passed away inutereo the previous day. Jenny had to be induced into labour and after 26hrs, Addison Capri Englehorn was born on April 14th at 1:38pm weighing a perfect 3lbs 14oz. Jake and Jenny feel so blessed to have been able to hold their little angel for 2 days before they had to leave the hospital.
Now they return home to their quiet house with a lot of healing to do. As the pratical realities begin to set in (baby stuff to be returned, funeral costs and significant medical bills to be paid) Jenny and Jake need your help!
