A Dental Clinic in Peru

I am raising money to construct a fully functioning dental clinic in Perú. When I left last year, the clinic had lost its only dentist and there was little more than a chair, a few brushes and some toothpaste that we bought for the community. Over the year, the clinic decided to focus its efforts on dental health, it regained a dentist as well as a dental student practicum, and all that is left in the puzzle is the money to implement its goals. 


I recently read an excerpt on giving that I believe is all to true: "If you're going to give, you need to give eyeball to eyeball. The further out you get, where you can't see the eyeballs you're interacting with, the less impact you have, and the more danger of potentially having a negative effect. But you can invest in a few individuals who will hopefully affect many individuals." This is what I am asking: invest in me so that I can hopefully affect many individuals. I know that not everyone can give eyeball to eyeball, but I am asking you to give so that I can give back to the community I left a year ago that influenced me so much.
