Christina Hope Palmer is my 36 year old daughter.
Christinas Hope for vision is something we have been praying for. Christina lost her vision slowly and by the time she was sixteen she had nothing left but light vision. Her blindness is due to a disease called retinitus pigmentosa and there has never been a cure for it.
Now they have a research program at the Kellogg Center, in the University of Michigan, called the argus II bionic eye. The people who have recieved this argus chip implant have had wonderful results.
Christina's first visit in July will be alot of testing and we will know then how the whole procedure goes. We do know they do not accept her insurance and the cost is over two hundred thousand dollars. Christina hopes to see her flowers that she loves to grow and the faces of her loved ones once again.
