I am currently recording my very first EP, LOVE Based On A True Story!!!! I have been singing literally my whole entire life. After taking a break and focusing on poetry for about 5 years I decided to return to my first love. . . Music. This project is a story about falling in love so deeply in love with someone that you almost feel as if you are high on a drug. For those who are native to D.C. you might remember hearing about the street drug LOVE BOAT, typically it's marrijuana laced with PCP, two very strong hallucinogens. Similar to being in love, Love boat effects include but aren't limited to feeling euphoria, loss of inhibitions, anxiety, disorientation, auditory hallucinations (hearing things) and visual hallucinations (seeing things) as well as increased heart rate.
This EP walks you through the journey of falling in love, losing yourself, hurting, and finding yourself. You might wonder if this album was written about your own personal love story.
I need your help with bringing this project to the world!! It costs a lot to record, produce and promote an EP as an independent artist. With your help I believe that this music will heal a lot of individuals recovering from a love affair gone awry.
