When I began my journey as an Independent Recording Artist it was an extremely steep mountain to climb when it came to networking and getting that “new music” word out. Godfrey “purchased” my project and began to introduce those in his world one of my songs. Later he reached out to me and created a blog for his Neo2Soul site.
It is costly to have a website so I utilized my blog as both a press kit as well as a site where I could direct those who were interested in my music. Due to the support of Godfrey my single Love spent approximately 4 weeks at #1 on the UK Soul Charts and remains in the playlist of many DJ’s across the U.S. and U.K. DJ Niceness has never asked for anything in return.
Supporting Indie Artist’s and our success has been his soul’s desire for the past 15 years.
After having a conversation with Godfrey, I learned that he is diligently working to create 2 official websites that will combine his DJ Niceness Radio Podcast as well as his Neo2Soul blog plus a new creative industry youth project . This will enable him to further promote us as well as other up and coming artists. As you know there is a cost with this and he did not totally feel comfortable to reach out to those of us he has benefited. So I asked him if he’d mind if I did in his stead.

Godfrey has worked with me both in terms of providing a service for our work with young people at the YMCA and in a separate venture in promoting Soul Music for my show on a local internet radio station.
