Double Hip Surgery on 1 yr old Rottie

Donation protected
Fury was born with Hip Dysplasia and at 12 months old, Fury underwent his first hip surgery and did not do well; which caused him to lose 85% use of his surgical leg. Six weeks later, Fury met an orthopedic surgeon who did a double hip surgery (correcting the first surgery and fixing the other hip) and provided an intense rehabilitation program. With this rehab program, the doctor and his staff are guaranteeing Fury will have at least 75% use of the bad leg and 100% of the other. A double surgery was imperative because he lost all use of both back legs at this point.

Fury is being boarded at a local kennel who is providing 24 hour care to ensure he survives by feeding, hydrating, providing specific rehabilitation, and giving him an overwhelming amount of meds. This puppy has just had his 13-month birthday and cannot walk. He has to be assisted to take a few steps so he can go potty. He is in a lot of pain and full of anxiety. The large amount of painkillers and Xanax are helping him cope with his scary and painful life.

Between the first surgery, the double hip surgery, all of the meds, kennel care, and special food, his medical bills have already reached $8000. The rehabilitation program will be another estimated $2000. Fury's mommy is borrowing money from friends and family to pay the bills. Please help him continue the care he needs so he can live the life every dog deserves...a life of walking and being pain free. Thank you.
