Rocky The Boston Terrier Vet Bills

This page is all about my lovely little 7 year old Boston Terrier Rocky. For the last couple of years Rocky has had a problem with his right eye, he kept getting ulcers in it, which our vet treated. It was always painful for him but the last one was horrendous. It got badly infected even though we started the treatment straight away.The infection took hold and Rocky got really poorly, really fast. On Sunday 18th May I had to take him to the emergency vets, and then the day after I had to rush him to the vets again. The decision was made to take the eye out once the infection had healed up. So poor Rocky was sedated and had his 3rd eyelid sewn shut to allow the eye to heal enough to be removed.

The big problem ? (Apart from my dog being ill).
No pet insurance:( When Rocky was a puppy I got him insurance but after a few years I couldn't afford it and had to stop it. Being a one-wage household means vet bills are a real problem for us. So I am doing something I never thought I would have to do- I'm asking for help online. I have used money that was set aside for utility bills to pay some of the vet bill already but am struggling to find the rest. Any help you can give would be much appreciated ! I will be posting regular updates on Rocky as I'm hoping he will be back to his bouncy self soon!
