Home Sweet Home

My uncle had a dream of building a home for his family when he retired. He retired from the United States Military for 20 years of service and had been on several tours in the Gulf War and the Iraqi war. He has sacrificed his time from his family to fight for the rights of ours. Last summer he started his project to build his family home. He tore down the old foundation to rebuild a new one. All of that came to a quick end. He started to have complications with his health. Luis underwent surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from his bladder. Time was taken away from his project so he may regain strength and energy. Several months after recovery, Luis was recently diagnosed with kidney failure. His family home is still not built and his wife and children are scattered into different homes. Day after day, Luis is determined to build his house and simply cannot do this alone. We are asking to help Luis, a husband, father of 4, grandfather of 2 and a veteran of this country, build his family home. There has been too much sacrifice coming from this beautiful man that just wants to give his family a place to call home. Once he is on dialysis theres no telling when his family will sleep underneath the same roof again. We are trying to raise money for materials and labor to finish what he has started.
