Hello All! I’m helping raise scholarship funds to send Pagan teens to Redwood Magic Family Camp this summer, an earth-based spirituality camp in Northern Calif. Regular teen camp tuition is $150-$300/person sliding scale, and we’re fundraising full & partial scholarships.
About Redwood Magic Summer Camp
Towering redwoods and firs, reaching up to the sky. Cawing of ravens and fluttering of wings. A creek running through camp. The voices of campers, alternately quiet, or excited.
Redwood Magic is four days of Earth-based spirituality, nature, and community in the Reclaiming Tradition, August 13 - August 17, 2014. It's a wonderful place for young people to connect with nature and themselves.
In 2013 we hosted our first camp which included a small group of teens. This year, we want to make it possible for more teenagers to attend! Camp fees include all meals, activities, and lodging (tent or tent cabins).
One of the special features of Redwood Magic is “Morning Path”, daily workshops for several hours each morning. Paths are determined by age: Teens & Young People (age 13-25), Raccoons (age 5-12), Fairies (age 0-4), and adults. Paths are taught by volunteer teachers and explore the camp theme along with nature awareness, magic, games, crafts, music, and group-building exercises.
We'll also be joined by a few Reclaiming Tradition teachers to help teach Paths and anchor all-age rituals, but everyone is encouraged to make offerings at camp! Offerings may include arts & crafts, mask making, archery (for older kids/adults), singing, drumming, dance, nature walks, talent show, and more.

Reclaiming is a community of people working to unify spirit and politics. Our vision is rooted in the religion and magic of the Goddess, the Immanent Life Force. We see our work as teaching and making magic: the art of empowering ourselves and each other. In our classes, workshops, public rituals, and camps we train our voices, bodies, energy, intuition, and minds. We use the skills we learn to deepen our strength, both as individuals and as community, to voice our concerns about the world in which we live, and bring to birth a vision of a new culture.
