Wilbur's Heartworm Treatment

Hello, my name is Rachel and I'm Wilbur's mom. I'm a 22 year-old college student who picked up this pup from the side of the road one night.  He was dumped by a dumpster, covered in ticks, wearing a rope and collar that was choking him. I took him home and washed him up and discovered what an amazing dog I just welcomed into my home.
Two weeks later he went to his vet appointment and was diagnosed heartworm positive. The treatments is going to cost way more than I can afford and I would greatly appreciate the help to give this poor dog the quality of life he deserves. I've only had him a few weeks and he has brought so much joy to my life and can't wait to take care of Wilbur for the rest of his.
