Titan goes to the RNC Convention

My name is Matthew Walbeck and my service dog Titan is pictured at the Texas Republican State Convention. We were selected to be an Alternate delegate place #1 for the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio July 17-21, 2016. It is a very costly adventure we are about to emBARK on.

This is the first time a delegate or alternate has been selected from Kleberg County, Texas and we want to make the most of this opportunity.

We are approximating that it will cost around $6,000 for me to go up for not only the week of the convention but also to the RNC committee meetings the week before. During the Texas Convention I served my senate district on the rules committee. This is why I want to go earlier is to see the National Rules committee operate. I am trying to become a registered parlimentarian and it would be a sight to see. Since I have a service dog I will be driving up and it will cost more than most due to needing supplies for two.

Titan has been such a help to myself and other veterans that we would love to share our adventures with anyone who joins. We will be working to spread the word about service dogs and how they can help reduce the 22 veteran suicides that occur daily.
