Save The Jaggerbush

A fire hydrant supply line located right outside the bar broke on January 31, 2014 sending 6 feet of water through and causing about $40,000 in damages and another $45,000 in lost business through May.  The insurance company denied coverage stating the water came from outside.  The water company said it wasn't their fault either and only began fixing the sidewalk in May.  We had to close to clean up for almost all of February.  We opened February 27th, but without some equipment and very little supplies.  People still don't know we're open since the water company left the outside looking like a construcion site for so long.  We had to take on more loans just to open the doors and are very close to closing the doors forever.  This has been a bar since 1904.  We are Veteran owned and operated. We work very hard to run a respectable establishment. We have original tin ceilings, a hand carved back bar and a sense of community pride in being one of the oldest bars around.  Please help us get back on our feet.
