Tyra Elzy Memorial Fund

May 3rd, 2014 I lost my best friend, love of my life, and father of my children. He was an amazing selfless man who always put other people’s needs before his own. Tyra Elzy dedicated his life to his family. He worked extremely hard to provide for Me (his wife Jessica Elzy), daughter Emma Elzy and his precious baby on the way. It took us almost a year of trying to finally get the chance to have another bundle of joy. He was extremely happy about how our life was blossoming.

Our family has been walking in the March of Dimes walk for the last 3 years, Volunteering for a Non-Profit Cancer Organization (Yay4Life) for the last 2 years, fostered homeless animals both on our own and threw a local shelter for the last 8 years, we volunteered our time with Treat Em’ Right Rescue for the last 3 years, and Tyra had just accomplished a lifelong dream of becoming a fire fighter all while working a full time job. He made sure to show our daughter Emma how we should help our community all while showing her what a father should be.

All of our bills are still due and I am still responsible for them all. I have a medical bill for our newest addition, Funeral costs, two non working cars that still need to be fixed and paid off, and all the regular living expenses.
