Hi everyone!
So as many of you may have seen on my facebook as well as AMDA, I also got accepted into the American Musical Theatre Academy in London. This is a one year intensive course in London that includes training in NYC.
After countless hours of making pros and cons lists and going through all my options I have decided that this course is looking like the better choice for me. The course fees are half of what I need for AMDA and it is starting in September. I have also took into account factors like the money I would need to spend on health insurance if I had decided to go to AMDA and the fact that my visa would not cover me to get a part time job, only to study. All round studying in London is looking like the best option for me at this moment in time. I am lucky that with this course I will receive training in New York and be taught by American professionals.
So this page is now for raising funds towards my place at THE AMERICAN MUSICAL THEATRE ACADEMY.
The course fees(including training in NY) are £10,500.
So I am changing my target to £15,000 as I am going to try and get some money saved up for living expenses. I have also applied for the Professional and Career Development Loan to help fund the course and will be hearing back from that in a week. I will be keeping this page updated regularly now.
