Last night was by far one of the hardest things we ever had to do! My stomache is still in knots. Why? What? How? We will never know all the answers we are looking for.. all we know, is that God needed two beautiful angels to watch over us. May the Lord give us strength to carry on... Not to leave their memory behind, but to be one day closer to meeting again♡ We love you two baby girls so much! We will see you tomorrow!
We have reached 3.2k so far! We are so blessed with everyones condolences and contributions. You are all such blessings... if you cannot contribute any money, all i can ask is to please pray for our family and pray we have the strength to make it through.
Share with friends and family!
THANK YOU AHEAD OF TIME AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
**** We are ever so BLESSED to have received such thoughtful contributions, large or small. Every little bit helps! Anyone who has known these two beautiful little girls, knows that they both have a smile that lights up a room. Their outgoing personalities were the highlight of anyone's day. You know, when something tragic like this happens, you really get a reality smack to the face as to how short life really is! We ask that if you can't contribute any sort of funds, our family asks that you pray for the strength of the families! This a very hard time for all of us.
Nariah Hawkins (9 years old) and Cadee Hawkins (4) were both too young. God must have really needed two beautiful angels to watch over us!
One would never expect to have to bury their child(ren) and would never expect to have to purchase life insurance for a 9 or 4 year old. We ask that you find it in your hearts to contribute and/or share this post.
It's such a devastating time for our family and the last thing that we want is not have the funds to give these two beautiful girls the proper burial that they deserve!
THANK YOU AHEAD OF TIME AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP "” The Lycoming County Coroner has determined the cause of death for the five people who died in a cabin near Montgomery on Saturday morning.
The Lycoming County coroner said Nathan Reece, 30; Jacqueline Stackhouse, 23; Nariah Hawkins, 9; Cadee Hawkins, 4; and Austin Cousins, 3; all died from Carbon Monoxide poisoning.
The bodies were discovered by a friend. People gathered at the cabin on Friday night for a party.
Family members of the victims said the past 48 hours have been a blur.
Chelsea Brennan is the cousin of the two young girls who were killed. Brennan said her family is mourning the loss. "With them being so young, even if they knew what was going on it's not like they really had a sense of what was going on. So, it's not like they knew to ask for help if they needed to. It's just heartbreaking with them being so young, they just didn't really know. Those are answers we're never going to have," said Brennan.
The families are planning funerals for their loved ones.
Brennan said the two girls did not have life insurance and the family is raising money for a proper funeral. They have started a go fund me account to help pay for expenses. You can donate here.
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP "” State police in Lycoming County told Newswatch 16 two adults and three children were found dead Saturday at a cabin along Gap Road in Washington Township near Montgomery. State Police say Jacqueline Stackhouse, her three year old son, Nathan Reece, and two other girls ages 4 and 9 all were pronounced dead at the scene. The cabin sits a distance back from the road. Jan Miller tells Newswatch 16, her son Robert was hosting a group of friends at the cabin. She says at some point he brought the group a propane heater, and went to sleep in his truck outside since the cabin was crowded. He discovered what happened just before noon. Authorities said the deaths are not considered suspicious and say carbon monoxide is being looked at as a possible cause. Newswatch 16 has a crew on the scene and will bring you the latest information as it becomes available. So I'm not one to ask for help I'm usually the one giving it. 2 of these 3 children are without funds for a proper burial.. so now we need the help so that these two beautiful girls can receive the proper burial they deserve! Any donations to help aid in the funeral/burial would be greatly appreciated. As soon as the mother and the father of these two beautiful girls make their decisions on where the viewing will be held I can let everyone know! I love you baby girls! If you cannot make a contribution as far as funds go, all that we ask is that you at least share this with friends and family members so we can get the funds raised for these precious girls! Any funds that are collected over the amount of the funeral cost, will be deposited into a trust fund account that only Serenity can access when she is 25. thank you ahead of time for all of your help! God bless you all!
