A Wonderful Gift For A Wonderful Mother

Donation protected
My mom is my rock, she means the world to me, she's my best friend. My mother raised me and my younger sister, who is now 10, as a single parent. She did everything she could to make us happy, she worked 3 jobs just to put food on the table and keep a roof over our heads. i barely saw my mother when I was growing up, because she worked so much and by the time I got home from school she was getting ready to leave to her next job. Whenever she was home from work she was so tired and barely got any sleep and it made me so upset that she did all this on her own just so we could get by. My mother dealt with domestic abuse and at one point we almost ended up on the street when I was 12 and my sister was only a baby. We had to live with a friend until my mother could get back on her feet and she DID get back on her feet and she saved up money for us to get our own little place, it wasn't a lot but it was something and we were fine with that. Through school clothes and supplies, lunch money, food on the table, a roof over our head, etc, my mother was always there, she would give us the last penny she had to make sure we had what we needed. She was always the type of person to help others in need and give you the shirt off her back. I learned a lot about love and compassion from my mother and for that I will always be grateful. when I was 18, I left Florida and moved to New York City to get a better job and make a better life for myself and help my mom as best as I could. I've lived here for almost three years and every now and then if she ever needs money I send it to her, but she recently lost her job and is having a hard time finding a new one, not to mention the town she lives in is a very small one and jobs don't pay well and are hard to come by. I've been helping her as best I can, but there's only so much I can help her with, financially. she has rent, bills and car payments that need to be paid and i don't make a whole lot of money so i can only help her with some of those bills, not all them. She's having trouble keeping up with the rent and her car is also very close to getting repoed and she needs the car to get around the town and pick up/drop off my sister at school, go grocery shopping, etc. her car is a necessity.

My mom is a great loving/caring person - what a mother should be, and it breaks my heart that she is dealing with all of this and struggling and I can't do anything about it. She's been through a lot and doesn't catch a break or have any time for herself. I decided to make a gofundme page in hopes that people will find it in their hearts to give a helping hand to a great, loving, and caring mother get back on her feet.

Thank you.
