High medical bills due to fire

Our elderly neighbors lost a majority of their home and their belongings in a fire.
The Homeowner Ted received second degree burns to his head, ears, and arms, along with interior damage to his lungs causing him to be induced into a coma and put on life support for four days.
Karen received minor injuries, but lost all her belongings including her two cats.
Due to the severity of Ted's medical treatments, the bills are astronomical and he still is hospitalized today.
Ted is 76 years old and a Veteran of the United States Army and Karen is 72 and a member of the local church, who dedicates much of her time to church functions.
We are trying to raise as much money to help cover the medical costs as possible and to help them rebuild their lives.
Any amount is a great help to this dearly loved family.
