Medical Bills & A Used Car

Two and a half months ago, my wife and I finally got me a car. a 1999 Mercury Mystique. I called her "Raven" (Bonus point for those who get the reference.)
4:00AM (ish) April 26th, 2014.
My wife and I are heading back in separate cars from our new home to our duplex. We've already hung up pictures, sprayed for pests and picked out and hung awesome curtains in the living room.
I'm in the left lane heading down Lebanon Pike and a set of headlights whip into my lane on top of me. I pull the car left as I apply a bit of break. Then he made very brief contact with me like a PIT-move you'd see on COPS.
I drift across the two lanes of traffic on my side and onto the hill, flipping over and then rolling the car down the hill at Jackson Downs. Lucky for me, I land on my wheels.
This is my seat and where I came from. As an undercover detective pulls up, I contact my wife and she speeds back to find me. I go through the motions and explain what happened to me to the detective.
I visited the ER for a CT Scan, and Spinal X-Rays just to be safe. The doctor on duty "R.B. MD" says I will be fine in time. Headaches and back and neck spasms are common for this type of accident.
My medical coverage at work is slim. They pay a whole 30% of my bills, and for everyone who knows an Ambulance ride is a solid $1000 to begin with.
I am also out a vehical my wife and I saved up for a year a half for me. Being 20 miles from work, and with a faulty public transit system it will limit how much sleep I get before work and what I can do to help with errands and seeing my daughter when I am not working.
I'm usually the last person who asks for ANYTHING from anyone. But this time around with all of the financial burdons of the past month in my household and everything else adding up, I am asking you all for a little help.
For most of you reading this, you have known me for ages. But for those of you who don't, I would like to get to know each and every one of you during my journey here.
