Hi all!
My name is Chris Jones and at the end of last year, in a moment of madness, I agreed to jump off a bridge for the pro-life cause...thankfully I'll be attached to something and hope to bounce back up!
I'm doing this because the pro-life cause is something which I care very much about and because we are working hard to raise money for a fantastic event, which will help bring the pro-life message to thousands of people across Scotland this summer.
I've been part of the Project Truth team since it was launched last year and this summer, we are running our first roadshow which will reach 6 cities over 6 days. The aim of Project Truth is to bring the pro-life message to the public, to bring the simple facts about the life and dignity of the unborn child to people's attention - to show that every life deserves to be protected from the moment they exist.
This roadshow will bring up to 30 young pro-lifer's together from across Scotland, England and Ireland - spreading the pro-life message and strengthening the pro-life youth movement at the same time.
We need to raise over £8,000 to make this event possible - This money will cover material, travel, accomodation and food for 6 days for the whole team. Broken down, each participant's place costs £300. I'm hoping to raise enough money to sponsor 2 people to attend the roadshow.
If you can help at all, myself and all on the Project Truth team would be extremely grateful! The event will take place on Sat 10th May in Perthshire, all are welcome to come along on the day!
