My Parents' First Vacation Since 1995

Shhhh! It's a secret!
For the last year-plus, my mom has been working on saving up to take my dad to Hawaii. It's his dream vacation -- he wants to see Pearl Harbor, learn more about global warming, typical "my dad" stuff. We're booking tickets tonight for them to finally go NEXT WEEK. They're leaving Thursday April 24 and coming back May 1/2.
Again: MY DAD STILL DOESN'T KNOW ABOUT THIS. DON'T TELL!
The last time they went on a real "vacation" was 1995, when they packed four kids (ages 1-11), five sleeping bags, and a new tent into the station wagon and drove to California.
My mom has saved enough for their flight, hotel, car rental, and admission to the WWII sites... and beyond that she has about enough for them to eat at McDonald's every day. They're going for a week. I would love to be able to give them enough to get a nice steak dinner, do some fun island activity (maybe horseback riding or a whale-watching tour?), and upgrade all the rest of their meals to fast-casual restaurants rather than fast food.
If everybody in the family can throw in $10 - $50, we can give them a real vacation where they won't have to scrimp and worry. They both deserve that so much.
