The Solar Squad team is among the most advanced, exciting, dynamic, and publicized solar initiatives. Solar car racing brings together a select group of young, dedicated engineering minds, researchers, and corporate sponsors with the ultimate goal of competing in solar-powered race.
In response to today’s energy issues, the Frontier Solar Car Project actively pursues alternative solutions in solar-electric technology, helping to develop energy options for the future. Our goal is to design, build, and race a car from Dallas,TX to Minneapolis, MN.
at the fastest speed possible, and safest using only sunlight as fuel.
The support that The Solar Squad receives from partnerships with corporate sponsors and individual donors allows us to build safer, lighter, sleeker, and faster cars each cycle. By partnering with the Frontier STEM High School Solar Car Project, you benefit in three ways.
