My Mother Needs A New Vehicle

My name is Patrick Johnson and I am here today on behalf of my Mom. She is one of the most important people in my life but everyday when she gets in her car she gambles with her life because the car she drives is completely unsafe. She has had two mechanics tell her that if she ever gets hit the car will split completely in two and it will put her very life in jeopardy.
I love my Mom with all of my heart and the thought of not having her in my life crushes me and is a very real possibility as she commutes to work everyday. Unfortunately my parents have fallen on hard times and can't afford to get a new car nor do they have the credit to get approved for a loan. They have been trying to for 6 months now to no avail... until a few days ago when a possible lifeline appeared.
They found an older Grand Cherokee that is reliable and the mechanic said outside of new tires it's a great deal for $3,000 even though it has high miles. On top of that the owner agreed to hold onto the car for a month in order to give my Mom a chance to raise the money. Which can allow her to get a trusted car... if she can come up with the money. Which brings me to why I am here today.

My Dad and her should be able to raise another $500 dollars on their own which still leaves $2,000 plus the cost of taxes, title, new tires and registration on the new car for them to come up with!
