Thank you for your generous contributions and support during our campaign to construct the Training Accident Memorial. We could not have accomplished this feat without your financial support. If you have not already done so, please stop by to see the memorial on your next visit to Ft. Bragg.
The 82d Airborne Division Memorial Association is tasked with raising the funds necessary for the upkeep, maintenance and required engraving services for the memorials located on the grounds of The 82d Airborne Division War Memorial Museum at Ft. Bragg, NC. The Division Memorial honors all Soldiers and Paratroopers who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving with The 82d Airborne Division. Other memorials include the street markers from the Old Division area, which were moved when the museum was built, Operation POWER PACK, Golden Brigade Memorial for Vietnam, the 328th Infantry Rock (World War I), 307th Airborne Engineer Battalion and Waal River Crossing Stone and the Global War on Terrorism Memorial. There are also several other memorials from inactivated units of the 82d.
As of 01 January 2017, we have changed the scope of this gofundme campaign to reach out to a broader group of donors. It is our sincerest hope that this change will encourage all of our supporters to help us maintain the memorials located on the museum grounds. Our goal remains at the $100,000 level and all of the money goes towards the upkeep and maintenance of these memorials as well as paying for engraving services as needed.
The 82d Airborne Division Memorial Association is a small group of volunteers—we do not take a salary for our work. We are a 503(c) corporation and your donations are tax deductible. When you make a contribution through our gofundme page, you automatically receive an email that provides the necessary tax information.
