I am Michael James, a beauty guru from YouTube specialising in the demure, unusual and avant-garde with an insatiable lust for products that deliver PRISTINE results.
I regularly use budget, mid range and high end products in my tutorials and review videos (alongside some DIY products too!)
Over the last 4 years my YouTube following has grown exponentially, but while I rigorously test brands and products, both hair, beauty and skincare "“ I have come to notice a specific piece of feedback I receive from my amazing followers from YouTube and other social media and that is;
'But Michael, where can I buy it!?'
This question has always stumped me, being in the beauty industry as long as I have has allowed me to make both essential and prestigious contacts with brands that I adore.
This is where you come in, beautiful.
I have created this GoFundMe page to set up a business, not just any business "“ a global online store allowing access to beauty products that REALLY work.
It will be a modest store with a strong and current selection of hard to get products, including professional hair and beauty products.
I will personally match the goal of £800 (if raised) to a total of £1,600 to ensure my online beauty paradise will provide excellent quality care, customer service and reputable products.
During the first few months of opening, I will concentrate on a core collection of hair and make-up products "“ and picked by me for their excellent properties "“ then expand accordingly.
This will include (but not only limited to) the BlondMe range by Schwarzkopf, complete damage restore hair care products (including treatments, fillers and cleansers for coloured, bleached and chemically treated hair), a wide variety of hair colour centred around the fashionable, the neon and pastel. (Manic Panic, Special Effects, La Riche Directions, Crazy Color etc.)
Also a wide selection of immaculate make-up and accessories such as false eyelashes (from varying brands), brushes and skincare.
I will be vigilant with shipping and handling costs as I've always been quite disappointed by just how much some retailers charge.
Anyone who donates to this GoFundMe will be eligible for discount/voucher codes through the website including 'money off' deals, free delivery and 2 for 1's (among many more.)
I will put my entire devotion to people, alternative beauty and self-discovery into this venture and it shall embody my vision of unique beauty should be available to all.
