Dear Brother/Sister in Islam, I had a meeting with Shaykh Faiyaz Alam Omeri - Famous Khateeb of Anjuman-e-Himayath Al-Islam(India,Chennai) (www.faiyazalam.com), he expressed his strong desire in starting a project of recording Tafseer of Al-Qur'aan in Urdu and relaying to public in terms of all kind of free media available. Actually, we are discussing about this project since a year ago when we started the work of renovating his website (www.faiyazalam.com).
This project is also has an agenda of recording high quality video programs by esteem scholars in languages such as Urdu, English & Tamil, covering important books(on Tawheed,hadith,fiqh), syllabus and broadcast/podcast the Video/Audio into the dedicated website and apps.
We hope by this we can save the scholarly works for future generation and build an access for the people all over the world.
We are in the process of discussion to identify the requirement to build a small studio and media equipments to kick start this project.
Alhamdulillaah till now we have bought a HD video camera (Panasonic HC-V720) with the contribution received so far. Also we have identified a 100+ SQFT space for our studio, which will be given to us at the earliest Inshaa Allaah. You will receive periodic updates in this email chain on happenings and improvements. Inshaa Allaah.
