Help Briana Fight a Rare Blood Condition

Briana has been diagnosed with a rare blood condition that affects 1 to 5 people (out of 1 million) each year. This condition is called Aplastic Anemia and it does not allow Briana's body's bone marrow to produce enough new blood cells. The only treatment to fight this rare condition is chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant, which can only take place if doctors can find a match for her.  Before her treatment begins, Briana will have to visit the hospital at least once a week for blood tests and blood transfusions to keep her defenses strong.  Once treatment begins, she will be hospitalized for a minimum of one month so that doctors can keep her under close watch.  She will not be able to attend her senior prom or graduate with her class, which has left her devasted.

During these hard times, our family will be incurring tremendous amounts of bills fighting this (i.e. co-pay prescriptions, co-pay medical bills, insurance, food, and household expenses). This site has been started to help offset these amounts.  All funds donated will go directly to our family to pay for these expenses.
