Kentons Place Breast Milk Donation

Kenton Roy James Micah Penigar Stephenson, was stillborn by way emergency C-section to Misty Penigar on Tuesday March 4th 2014. During the anticipation of his birth be brought much joy and excitement to his family and those around his mother. Kenton was an active baby, often causing a large amount of pain in his mothers ribs, hips, siotic nerve, and leading up to his birth her back and tailbone. Everything seemed perfect till those ten minutes before his birth when everything went wrong..

Kenton's mother had planned on breastfeeding him, then donating her breast milk when he was done nursing. She is currently donating breastmilk herself. But there is a lack of knowlege, and or center's in her area for breast milk donation and support. Misty want's to rectify the situation.

The goal is to raise enough money to pay monthly rent advance at our beautiful home located at 3628 Spooner Avenue, Altoona Wisconsin 54720, as well as to purchase some ,electric breast pumps , milk storage bags, and and components for the pumps to be sold.  We want mother's to come into Kenton's place (named in honor of this tiny prince) to take breast feeding classes, birthing classes, join suport groups for nursing and for grieving parents and grandparents. There are so many programs in the works at Kenton's Place.

Kenton's place will be a place of hope and support, while providing tiny little humans with the milk they need to survive when their mother's are just unable to produce enough. Studies show that breast milk is best even if donated, and we want to provde this service in honor and Memory of Kenton..

The Non Profit Numbers Federal and State will cost us a total of $475 .. Rent for our location is $2500 per month, and thats negotiated down.  Breast pumps cost min $100 but we want to make sure everyone has their own attachemnts which they will purchase from us to keep the pumps sanitary. Supplies will need to be purchased as well as office supplies, computer software, lockable filing cabinate and so much more listed in our wishlist below.

We need your help!!

We need the following supplies to help provide this service.
-10 pumps that remain at Kentons Place for attachements to be plugged into and donations pumped.
-300 breast sheilds with valves to start with, for parents to purchase to use with their pumping session and take home with them.
-Membranes  to replace the ones on their pump attachements because they fall off easily and end up going down drains. They are availible for purchase..
- Breast pads avaible for purchase
- Lanolin Cream availible for purchase
- Breast pump hose attachements, to keep the pumping sanitary. Availble for purchase.
-Hand Pumps availible for purchase and a couple extra to be sanitzed incase moma needs to express before pumping or nursing.
-2 Glider Chairs
- Flat Screen Television monitors to run educational facts etc
