Our team is full of dedicated, hard-working hockey players who's main goal is to bring a North American Championship back to Michigan. Some of our players have been working toward this goal for over 15 years.
This tournament is the pinnacle of our sport and viewed as PowerHockey's Olympics or Stanley Cup. The best of the best from around North America competing for one common goal every two years.
Many of our athletes rely on Disability / SSI / SSDI as their primary source of income and attending these tournaments can be very costly to attend.
For our players, hockey is not just a sport but a passion. Many of our players cannot compete in other sports or attend other social activities. Hockey provides our players with a competitive outlet & social atmosphere where we have been able to build a community of players throughout North America who can relate to, as well as mentor and morally support others & their families with similar disabilities or lifestyles.
The PowerHockey Cup is the one time we can all get together and not only play, but develop & promote this sport we love so much.
For travel, gas, food, hotel & tournament entry fees - costs can reach more than $1,500 per player
to attend the tournament. We are hoping to raise $1,000 per player
to offset the costs to our players & their families.
If 110 people donate $100 - We Reach Our Goal
If 220 people donate $50 - We Reach Our Goal
