Financial Help for Kzoo Rape Victim

Donation protected
On February 5th 2014, I was beaten up in the street, abducted, raped for hours and was very close to being murdered (by that
I mean he decided to stop trying to straggle me to death).

The man that did this died on Feb 7th when he was shot by police officers as they went to question him and he met them at the door with a realistic looking airsoft gun.

I am so greatful for the outpouring of support I received from the community and my loved ones after the attack. We made a video to let everyone know how much I appreciated their help which you can watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yq1tJHgVUe0

For the most part, I'm doing great considering the ordeal I went through. My injuries healed up quickly. And I'm still the same person I've always been. That said, my anxiety problems are definitely worse then they've been in a long time. Being alone for long periods of time (which is necessary for my job) has been difficult. I'm starting to slowly work through this, but it will take time. Its making it pretty hard to fully get back to my normal life.

Basically, getting raped doesn't really bother me that much. What bothers me and has become a big stressful problem since it happened is that financially this event has devastated me. I have been scraping by with small amounts of money. A lot of my normal living expenses are going unpaid right now which I feel awful about.

Getting back to work and being able to support myself again is gonna take a while. So I want to raise enough money to live off of for at least 6 months. As well as take care of a few bills that are hanging over my head, take care of some health expenses and buy a few things I really need to live my life a little more comfortably.

Here's a break down of how I plan to use the money (assuming we reach the goal amount.)

$3000 Rent/Utilities/Moving Expenses for 6mo.
$700 Food for 6mo.
$300 Phone for 6mo.

$300 Fix bank account (got overdrawn in the week after the attack when I wasn't seeing my mail or checking the account, a large unexpected charge and a sizable check bouncing caused it, I didn't realize it was overdrawn til a week after so I used my card several times, I can probably get the fees taken off, but its still about $300 overdrawn after those get removed)

$300 Health expenses (STD Test/long term birth control, I'm not totally sure how much these are going to be so I'm just estimating.
EDIT: Someone informed me of a place to do free STD testing so I took the amount here down a bit)

Twin Bed (EDIT: Friend was moving this which and gave me her old bed so I decreased the goal amount a bit because that's taken care of now)

$200 New Bike (my main mode of transportation)

$1000 Unpaid Bills

$1000 New Business start-up costs (so I can start generating my own income again)

=$6800

GoFundMe Fees 7.9% + 0.30 per payment = approx. $580

=$7380 Total Goal Amount

If you'd rather donate actual things instead of money (like food, or bike) that's fine, just email me at: [email redacted] and we can arrange that.

If the goal amount is surpassed it would just go to living expenses for a longer amount of time. Or taking a trip with my boyfriend for our anniversery in April.

Thanks so much,
~Hannah
