San Mateo-Toyonaka Sister Cities
Donation protected
For over 50 years, the Cities of San Mateo, U.S.A. and Toyonaka, Japan have shared a link as Sister Cities to spread international goodwill and share the cultures of our two great nations.
Every summer two high school students from San Mateo travel to Japan as goodwill ambassadors to the City of Toyonaka. At the same time, the City of San Mateo hosts two high school students from Toyonaka. Additionally, little league baseball teams travel for goodwill games every two years, and local school host cultural exchanges between the two Cities.
To help fund these important events, and add to the experience of our children, we hope you will help fund the San Mateo Sister City Association, a registered 501(c)(3).
