Race for Rehab 2014

Donation protected
For the past 16 years, New York Medical College's Department of Physical Therapy and Achilles International have collaborated to hold the annual Race for Rehab!

NYMC's Race for Rehab (R4R) is an annual event organized by the Physical Therapy students that raises funds for Achilles International, a worldwide, non-profit organization which trains athletes with disabilities for participation in athletic events such as the upcoming TCS NYC Marathon 2014.
R4R is a 5K (3.1mi) and will be held on Sunday October 12, 2014 at the New York Medical College campus in Valhalla, NY.

As this is a student-run event, we are raising funds in order to cover race day expenses i.e. race bibs, t-shirts, timing devices, table rentals etc. Any remaining funds are directly donated to Achilles.

Achilles International's mission has always been to "enable people with all types of disabilities to participate in mainstream athletics in order to promote personal achievement, enhance self esteem, and lower barriers to living a fulfilling life."
This race has meant a lot to the school and to the Achilles athletes over the years and we look forward to continuing the tradition.

Please consider donating to help us meet our goal and support this wonderful organization! Your donations are greatly appreciated.
