In September 2013, a school friend of mine was looking forward to starting pre-season rugby training at York University before he started studying for his degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics.

A week before he was due to go he was involved in a terrible road accident that has changed his life forever.

Rob now has a very high level spinal injury which means he is paralysed from the neck down and reliant on a ventilator for his breathing.

He is already making a start with an eye gaze computer system which is the first step towards internet access. However, Rob and his family need all the love and support they can get. They also need help raising money to buy specialist apparatus/equipment to help Rob lead as normal a life as is possible.

Rob is a talented and inspiring individual, and still plans to take up a place at Bristol University this September/October.

As a small help I will be doing a (petrifying) 160ft bungee jump THIS SATURDAY on 22nd March at the O2 Arena in London! I hope everyone can share and donate any money, big or small to sponsor me to do this; all money raised will go to Rob and his family to help him adjust to his life with Tetraplegia.

Even if you have just a couple of quid...every little will help!

(Some attractive photos and videos of the jump will be posted before and after the event)
