Ms. Wheelchair Texas pageant
Donation protected
This coming March, the Ms. Wheelchair Texas Foundation will crown the new Ms. Wheelchair Texas 2014 to serve as a spokesperson for people with disabilities. She will have the opportunity to make appearances at events across Texas, meet with state and local officials, and compete for the title of Ms. Wheelchair America. Along with the esteemed duty of spokeswoman, Ms. Wheelchair Texas will serve as a role model and advocate, to help eliminate stereotypes and barriers that have plagued the disabled community in the past.
It is my goal to become Ms. Wheelchair Texas 2014, and I am asking for your help to be a part of this empowering program. In order to become a contestant in the pageant, I am required to raise an entry fee of $500 to pay for the costs of the weekend for myself and a companion. All monies collected are tax-deductible as the Ms. Wheelchair Texas Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization, and a receipt will be provided to you for tax purposes.
