The McPhadens are going to Evanston!

Over the past year, friends have told me to let them know if I need help. I'd like to use those offers in the most constructive way possible to gain the most long term benefit for my children.

  In case you don't know anything about my life, I am the primary caregiver for my two brilliant and amazing children. One of them has a disability which will be lifelong, but is manageable with access to quality medical care. I am in the midst of a divorce. My younger child soon being old enough for full-day school means I soon get to jump into a difficult job market after seven years of full-time parenting. I'm starting a fresh new chapter of my life, but my goal here is to start that chapter with the kids and I living closer to opportunities to succeed.
