UPDATE: Dear Friends and family of Valerie Nerres -** AT this time there has been NO Service, no memorial as rumours and more fake rumours are flying. Fake pics are simply not from Valerie's or even Valerie's correct Mortuary! AT this time it will be up to the family regarding memorial decisions. I have done what I can to help only towards Valerie and with the Mortuary. I am bowing out now. NO MORE DRAMA!!! It will NOT be tolerated and reported!
Valerie passed away in her sleep early Sunday morning this past week. This is the only news I have at the moment.
I personally am setting up this fund raiser, with what I know can be a huge burden of costs, dealing with tons of decisions, funeral and or cremation, etc... at this most difficult of times..
Valerie leaves behind 2 amazing children and family, that I know must be devastated, and overwhelmed. I personally feel that they may need some help, during this incredibly difficult time. I know many of us do want to do something.
Valerie is a dear fellow Rock Photographer as I am. We both shot for the same Magazine. She Inspired me, and her photographs inspired me. My heart has sank over this very sad news.
Any help with be much appreciated.. Valerie is, and was loved by so many worldwide. Her amazing work impacted so many, through sharing her passion and timeless moments captured in her photographs . I only wish she just knew now how much.
I promise to help with the expenses in this manner, that they will be paid personally by me directly to the Mortuary. I felt this is the best way, and a good start, as things get figured out.
