RCPD Fundraiser through MSU Tower Guard

Tower Guard is an honorary student organization at Michigan State University that works with the Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities (RCPD), located in Bessey Hall. We serve the disabled community on campus by converting textbook to e-text and reading and scribing for students during exams.
In addition to direct work with RCPD, we are the primary source of fundraising for the RCPD on a yearly basis. It takes a lot of funding to provide the necessary equipment for disabled students to perform and succeed in higher education, and we are able to make that possible with several fundraising events throughout the year.
Our largest fundraiser is the Shamrock 5K Run-Walk-Roll, which takes place every year on St. Patrick's Day weekend. For this academic year, it will be taking place on Saturday, March 15, 2014.
We are asking for your donations so we can fund the race and hopefully raise as much money as we can for the RCPD. We need your donations to help fund the timing service, shirts, the rent fee of the course and hall being used, and many other essential expenses. We are hoping to cover these fees with donations so all proceeds from the race, as they should, will go directly to the RCPD.
We'd like to show the Michigan State community, the East Lansing community, and all of the running community that as a university, Michigan State is here to to support all of its students, especially those who are disabled. We want them to not only excel in their academics, but feel a sense of support through this 5K event as well, and we believe that your possible donation is a key ingredient in making that possible.
