Vanessa Villagran

On October 14, 2013, Vanessa Villagran was diagnosed with breast cancer. In November 2013, she had surgery to remove the cancerous tumors. In January 2014, she began her chemotherapy infusions which will be on-going through May 2014. Due to the extreme fatigue, a weakened immune system, and several side effects from the chemotherapy, she is on a medical leave of absence from her job.  Unfortunately, she was informed that if she did not return in May 2014, she may be placed on a rehire list and lose her current teaching position.
Once the chemotherapy is completed, Vanessa still has six more weeks of daily radiation treatments. Then she will return to the hospital some time during the 2014 holiday break to have reconstructive surgery.
Needless to say, life has not been a piece of cake for Vanessa, but as a dedicated and single mom, she is trying to be strong and stay positive for her children, Aidan and Solia, which mean the world to her.
Her family and friends are reaching out to all of you in hopes of finding some financial assistance to help her with  medical bills, medications, transportation to and from all her medical appointments and life expenses. Any help is greatly appreciated and will go a long way in her fight to take down cancer! We thank you all in advance from the very bottom of our hearts.

Ok, enough of the mushy stuff.  Please help us beat Vanessa's cancer down!!!!
