Chandra Raised 1 Million Pennies!

13-year old Chandra Starr has launched 'The One Million Penny Project' to benefit Growing Food Forward, placing pennies jugs on counters throughout our region. Please watch her video and consider making any amount of donation to help her reach her goal of raising $10,000 to help build gardens throughout the region and to get fresh organic produce to those in need, right at their doors and/or in our Lift Up food pantries.

Please note that all contributions go into the Growing Food Forward non-profit account. The funds are then turned into boxes of pennies that we turn over to Chandra to facilitate photos, etc. of the growing stack(s) of pennies. Large donations will be tax-deductible.

Thanks much for helping Chandra in her efforts. Chandra will be posting occasionally as time permits with school, homework, and all the collecting and documenting of the pennies and events that she is doing.
