JUMPING FOR JONI

'Come on, jumping out of a plane will be a doddle, compared to what Joni is going to go through!'
Laura wrote this in her Sky Dive appeal for Joni. Joni- Mai is a 7 year old little angel who first fought her battle with Ewing's Sarcoma in 2011. She has been diagnosed with relapse of Ewing's Sarcoma in 2013. This Sky-Dive is arranged to raise funds for her impending treatment.

Sky diving was always on my bucket list. To be honest, it was more because it was a cool thing to do. I wondered if I would ever find the courage to do it in reality. Laura's appeal was so honest and direct, I had to respond in the affirmative. My lack of adventurous genes, fear of height/injury/death and reluctance all seem to have gone into hiding. Yes, I will be jumping for Joni Mai. I aim to raise a significant amount for her treatment. I must state that it is a direct donation towards a little girl so one may not receive any tax benefits. But don't we all often wonder about our donations as we hardly ever get any feedback?
