Fix Seb's life.

Essentially, I can't put off medical transition any longer or I may go mad.

I won't go into too much detail about how much I want to be able to go on testosterone. If you know me you'll know I want it more than Chic want your love, more than Michael Jackson wants you back, more than Andrew WK wants to see you go wild.

There are many problems with the way gender issues are treated by the NHS. I have had some really unpleasant experiences with them in the past which I'm not keen to repeat. For this reason and a few others, it is my dream to be able to see a private specialist. (I have a specific one in mind, who comes highly recommended as not a dickhead.) But I, being poor, have only my dreams.

Quite a few people have asked me if they can help me with my transition costs. I've traditionally responded to this with vague hand-wringing and mumbles of how I couldn't possibly accept that.

However, this evening I did a thing I often do of tumbling into bed after a few drinks feeling pained about the situation, and this time I decided in a flash of impulsivity to set this page up while it still seemed like a good idea.

I fully expect to wake up tomorrow having forgotten I've done this, and then remember halfway through breakfast and be really embarrassed, but it'll be too late by then because I'll have already done it so my future self can suck it.

Basically there's obviously no pressure but if you feel like donating, even an insultingly small amount, I promise that ~all~ the money will go directly into my transition fund and that the positive effect on my life will be immeasurably huge. I've set my target quite low, but it should buy me a few psychiatrist and endocrinologist appointments, and hopefully that'll be enough for me to get my prescription. Anything over my target will go into my chest surgery fund.

I will use my new-found powers of being able to speak on my radio show without wanting to curl up and die to dedicate songs to you.
