Help Melissa Fix Her Car!

My car also has a vac leak, hoorah! At this point I'm raising money to at least get my car patched up enough to head up to Northern California to go on a shooting spree for Cosplay Deviants, Zivity, and for new alt, fetish, and lingerie shoots as well as visit family.
All donations are going to fixing my car/car parts, gas money, and if there is anything left over- new materials to make upcoming cosplays.
I'm sending out print packs to anyone who donates $25 or more. I wish I had more to give everyone at this point! You will not be disappointed with the photoshoots I have planned in Northern California, though! I promise!

As many of my loyal and long term fans know, November 2013 I got stuck in Northern California after the catalytic converter in my 2002 Toyota Prius failed. I spent all of my savings getting it towed and getting ripped off by mechanics who had told me they had solved the problem when they really hadn't.
I took out a loan from a family member to buy a used vehicle so I could get to my new home in San Diego in time for Christmas. I had a third party mechanic come out and check out the car I was buying ahead of time, everything seemed fine and I finally settled on a 2002 Volkswagen GTI, which I am madly in love with.
Fast forward a little over a month later and my check engine light comes on while I'm driving around applying for jobs. I take it into the shop immediately to check the codes, and surprise, it reads P0420-- in other words, I need a new catalytic converter. I swear, cat converters are haunting me and my bank accounts. (Also for you car savvy folks, yes, I checked my 02 sensors, they are fine.)
Since moving to SoCal I have spent most of my days applying for jobs and selling anything and everything I can on eBay and Craisglist just to pay for my car loan and car insurance. It's not enough.
I need to buy a new catalytic converter so that when I do finally get hired somewhere, I can actually get to work and continue booking photoshoots. Anyone who knows me personally knows that I absolutely hate asking people for money, but I really have no other options right now. I have tapped out all of my resources. I need to suck it up and ask for help.
If you like my work and you'd like to continue seeing me model, please throw a few bucks my way. I only need about $600 for a new catalytic converter that will last me- I don't need to pay for labor because my husband and I can put it in ourselves.
