My Mother's fight against cancer

My mother is such an inspiration to me and many others. She has survived divorce, being a single mother with three children and losing a child to suicide. She has always sacrificed for her children. She made sure that we had what we needed before she took care of herself. My mother never that I knew of, has gone to a salon and had a day just for her. I cannot tell you the last time that my mother bought a new dress, new furniture or silverware. The last time I visited my mother, there was silverware in the drawer that was there when I was 10 years old. My mother just replaced the carpet in her home after 35 years.  My mother is loving, caring, giving and the strongest woman I have ever met. In February of 2014, my brother took his own life. On the 10th of the month, my mother had taken him to the grocery store and he left my mothers around 445 pm. He left a bottle of coffee creamer in her car and she took it to him the next morning. My mother found him, he had hung himself. My mother's faith in God has kept her alive. My mother is 70, soon to be 71 years old. In December of 2015 my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. She has decided that she does not want chemotherapy. She has agreed to the possibility of alternative natural treatments. Insurance will only cover so much. My mother has dreams that as she said will now never come true. My mother has always wanted to see Alaska and Hawaii.  I do not remember the last time she bought a piece of furniture or was not worried about having enough money. My mother held my hand when she brought me into the world, and when her time comes to leave this world I will be holding hers. Before that time comes I want to make the last 6-9 months of her life the best that she can have considering the circumstances. Your help is so incredibly appreciated.
