Help us march with the Raiders DBC!

This year, I, Oliver Cuautli, will be marching my second year as a quad drummer with the Raiders Drum & Bugle Corps based in Burlington, NJ. Drum Corps is a musical activity in which thousands of people (between 15-21 years old) audition for 100 or so positions as performers in a corps and then rehearse, perform, and compete against other corps from a far spread across the country for about a 90 day period cross-country tour. It is intense, mentally and physically demanding, and not for the faint of heart but, it has been the most rewarding experience of my life and I have had many great adventures and made great friends last year. My younger brother, Charles, who is 15 years old and a freshman in high school, was contracted and given a spot in the corps as a member of this year's snare drum line. Both of us, being underaged, me with an unsteady job, both being raised by a single mother who struggled to pay my dues last year, would greatly appreciate support in helping us march this summer and pay our fees. it would really mean a lot to us, considering the financial situation we're in. Nevertheless, we are determined to come up with the money in any way we can and we would be extremely grateful for even the smallest donation. $1, $5, anything would awesome! This is something that have wanted to do together for years now and its amazing that we have been given the chance to travel and do what we love the most, play music for audiences day in and day out.
