AVM/BRAIN ANEURYSM ROAD TRIP

I am taking my dog Benji on a slow road trip with me to Washington, D.C. to promote awareness for AVM/BRAIN ANEURYSM and to lobby congress to pass a bill that will officially declare September as National Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month. The trip will start on February 9, 2014 which is the tenth year anniversary of my ruptured brain aneurysm and God willing, we will be in Washington D.C. in May where I will join the group from the Brain Aneurysm Foundation. I will be meeting fellow brain aneurysm survivors along the way (coming and going) and I will gather signatures from people who have been affected by brain aneurysm which I hope to personally bring with me when I get a meeting with Vice-President Joe Biden who himself is a brain aneurysm survivor. I will be stopping in cities where I have fellow survivors, personal friends and relatives. I will be documenting the trip by posting daily blogs with photos and videos. I hope to get people's attention and generate media coverage along the way. Because of my medical condition, I have to travel at a slow pace. The money raised will be used in making my vehicle roadworthy and to cover my expenses for the six months or so that it might take to finish the whole trip.
