Help Tyler Darby with Rehab

On 8 July 2018 a family fun day riding motorbikes with friends turned into a day of horrific lifelong injuries for Tyler. Tyler has a passion for bikes and is very talented and loves to ride. He is also a 2 x Supercross champion and had a vision to become a pro Tyler went over the bars at slow speed he hadn’t even done one lap with the bike falling on him and fracturing his C2 vertebrae in his neck, his helmet on impact ruptured his eye, lacerated lung, broken hip, and fractured pelvis. Tyler’s hip has been repaired and screwed back together but the bone has not yet fused and his blood flow is compromised drs are working together to repair this issue he will be requiring a replacement titanium hip at some stage in the future. Tyler’s eye has had surgery to try and repair it but due to the iris, cornea and retina being damaged and his lens now removed he is currently blind in his left eye. To regain sight in his left eye Tyler will require a minimum of 4 transplants to regain his sight some transplants will need to be from donors nothing can be done at this stage until his eye stabilises. Tyler’s a fighter he’s fitness and healthy mindset is helping with his recovery but he would really appreciate any assistance he can obtain to help him with future surgeries and rehabilitation to enable him to live with the mobility he used to have and to regain his vision in his left eye. Tyler has a long and slow recovery ahead of him but he’s one young boy that has a zest for life and will strive hard to get the best possible recovery he just needs help to receive the required surgeries to assist him in the future.
