Martin's Bike Repair Shop Start Up

Hello, my name is Martin. I am a pro amateur bike racer, and cycling is a huge part of my life! I've always worked at bike shops growing up, and it has been my dream to own my own shop one day to bring the joy of bike riding to my community. There used to be a bike shop in the same area, but the owner retired. Now there is a Pop-Up lease available in the heart of Bethany Village, the perfect place to have a familiy friendly bike shop.

I'm hoping to raise enough for the first few months of rent as well as licenses, insurance, and supplies. I'm planning to use recycled materials to keep costs low and to avoid contributing to the land fill. I will first focus on tune ups and small repairs until I make enough to expand into bike sales.  I am about hard work, and I will be doing the repairs myself. My years of experience will ensure that I provide the highest quality repairs and customer service. 

Summer is around the corner and I want to build the shop as soon as posssible. Since it is a small location, it would not take me very long to set it up.  

This shop means a lot to me for many reasons. I used to be overweight and unhealthy until I started working at a bike shop. With some encouragement from my coworkers, I started riding my bike more and adopted a healthier lifestyle. I have never looked back, and now I am even a personal trainer helping others do the same. Now that I am a bike racer, I undertand the importance of keeping your bike in good condition to prevent accidents and keep people safe. I also want to encourage others to commute by bike like myself because it is better for the environment than driving and also better for your health.

I will be so thankful to anyone who contributes to my cause because you are helping me achieve my dream. If I reach my goal, I will give free bike safety and repair classes to the community. Thank you for reading my page!
