Food, Clothing, & Hope for Students
Donation protected
The goal of Young Women of Purpose (YWOP) is to assist students (grades 9 - 12) in successfully completing high school and transitioning from poverty to employment/self-employment and bright futures as adults. The YWOP students at South Lake High School in Seattle face challenges daily - poverty, hunger, lack of clothing for cold weather, unstable housing, homelessness, physical & emotional abuse, violence, and unsafe living environments. Please contribute funds to help resolve immediate issues of hunger and lack of cold-weather clothing. 100% of contributions will be used to purchase food, scarves, gloves, and prepare hygiene kits for the youth. Volunteers receive no salary. Donations are needed NOW and throughout the school year and summer. We ask that supportive and compassionate adults donate funds to YWOP so these deserving students can secure the basic necessities and focus their attention on their education. The students and volunteers are grateful for your and the community's support. Small donations are gladly accepted.
