Help our Friend,Mother and wife!!!!

29 year old first-time mother Dana, first found out she had cancer while she was pregnant. A lump on the side of her hand had grown a lot in the month her fiance Brad was away at work. When he came home, he asked her to see a doctor about it. They did a biopsy and it was confirmed that it was a rare form of cancer called rhabdomyosarcoma. She underwent surgery to remove the lump and was tested to see if the cancer was spreading. So far it had stayed in her hand. She was pregnant and so treatment was delayed for months while she carried her baby to 34 weeks. She was induced and gave birth to a healthy baby girl. She began chemo and radiation shortly after. A time that was supposed to be such a special time, turned into a trying ordeal. Weak, but determined to watch her baby grow up, she has fought back and is still fighting hard. Brad has never left her side. The cancer has spread to other regions of her body. She's undergone surgery on her spine as well as her brain. But she is still very optimistic, and is still fighting. Still wanting to watch her little girl grow up, and to have the wedding she has always dreamed of.
But it has been difficult. Long hospital stays, the cost of traveling to the treatment centers, the hotels, gas, and cost of chemo and radiation, as well as a mortgage, truck payments and a growing baby have been a constant reminder of the financial need for Brad to go back to work. ( Brad's work will take him from their home in Kamloops to North of Fort St.John. He is the main caregiver for their little girl.)
We have created this page to help raise funds to help this beautiful family in their time of need for the long journey ahead of them. The road ahead is filled with many unknowns, but we hope it is also with many miracles as well.
