Horses in desperate need of help!

We are Terri Meyer and Anne Wuhrer and we have been asked to help rehome and help 3 horses and 2 ponies that are in a severly declining situation in the Warrenton, VA area.  Their elderly owner has passed away and they are living with no shelter, vet, farrier or human care.   All of them are in malnourished, and their condition of their hooves made us cry!   They are in desperate need of a vet evaluation, medications and vaccines as well as prolonged and dedicated farrier work.   All will need some degree of rehabilitation, but the 2 ponies (the "dalmation" and the tan appaloosa ) will need care sooner than later as they are limping and have swollen joints).   We are asking for any volunteer farrier and vet help because we know that it will be expensive for 5 horses!    All funds donated will go directly to their care.  $5000 wont put a dent in the cost of their care, but anything will help!    There are 2 good Samaritans that are also helping:  one that has a field they can stay on and another that is dropping hay once a week for them, but it has not been enough.   There were 7 and 2 have already passed away.
